OUR LADY AND BLESSED ALEXANDRINA
2014-05-13

Blessed Alexandrina had a special and deep devotion to Our Lady, who she called “Mummy”. In the month of May, the flowers’ month, the month of the devotion to Mary, Blessed Alexandrina used to celebrate it singing, praying and meditating in honor of Our Lady.

Every day she dedicated a little flower and many thoughts that she used to write to The “Mummy”, offering her sufferings by those she loved and by those who offended Jesus and Mary.

As Alexandrina, let us know how to meditate and pray to our heavenly Mother and Mother of the Church, asking her in this month of May, her blessings for our life and for those who despise her.

Let us reflect briefly on Alexandrina’s words:

«Received new caresses of Jesus and the Mother, I offered myself to her and all who are dear to me and by the end of the world, including also those who hurt me.

"Mummy, I deliver the humanity to you, keep it up that is yours, save it. I am ashamed for having received from you the delivery of the world. What can this misery do without your protection? Oh Jesus, Oh Mother, I give myself to you as the soldier who wants to fight and defend your reign. I want to fight, I want to obey: command me, with your grace I will do everything; I'll be strong. With grace and power from Heaven the world will be saved. At enormous cost I released myself from Jesus and Mummy; attached to them, I overcame the world, I feared nothing. Now all fear, I cannot do anything. Oh how I miss Heaven! When Will I go there? "»
